Winter view from Il Poggiolo

This photo captures the snow-dusted landscape, as well as the medieval tower of Galatrona (12th century) that can be seen on the top of the hills. This tower was part of a series of towers that marked the boundary between Siena and Florence, and has recently been restored so that visitors can walk up to the top and view the entire Valdarno from the battlements.
