Included Services: Your stay at Poggiolo includes:

  • Light refreshment basket upon arrival.
  • Washing machine (in kitchen), drying rack, ironing board and iron.
  • A small lending library of recreational reading to suit most tastes, and games for children (and adults) of every age.
  • A “Welcome Book” (information binder) about local attractions and useful information, as well as an “Information Basket” with maps and current brochures on things to do in the area.
  • A restaurant guide.
  • A hairdryer is provided.

  • A land-line telephone or cell phone can be booked in advance for a fee – please enquire.
  • Internet Access:
    • Holidays and brief stays: provided free of charge (guests must fill out form for password).
    • Sabbaticals and longer stays: provided at cost.
  • Extra cleaning service: can be arranged for a fee

Get started in the kitchen upon arrival! Avoid shopping after all that travelling! You may advance order one or more items from a selection of gourmet baskets. Please reserve two weeks in advance.

Tours, Cooking, Biking, Spas… Your hosts can provide you with contact information for the following services:

  • Guided tours of Florence and Tuscany.
  • Italian cuisine cooking classes, either locally or in Florence (for groups of 4 or more people).
  • Professional and amateur mountain bike rental.
  • Spa treaments at nearby thermal baths and resorts.
